Plainfield Baptist Church in Eastman will be celebrating its 100th anniversary
and homecoming Sunday, June 2 during the morning worship service. The
church is looking for old photos of the church and/or church members

Plainfield Baptist Church,Eastman, will be celebrating their
100th anniversary and homecoming on Sunday,June 2, 2013, in the 11:00
a.m. worship service. Dr. Steve Pharr of the Georgia Baptist
Convention/State Missionary will be guest speaker and present a plaque
to the church for the special celebration. Rev. Tim Tanner would like
to extend a special invitation to attend this service. A covered dish
lunch will follow in the social hall after the services. We are
encouraging all members and guests to dress in centennial attire for
this special day. Dress can be for any era during the last 100 years.

Biking Bleckley Metric 100 is a family-oriented bike ride through
southern country roads in Bleckley and surrounding counties. All roads
are in very good condition with flat to moderate rolling hills. Riders
will travel in a big loop with other routes branching off and heading
back to the start. There is no backtracking. All routes are well marked
and easy to follow. All routes are supported with maps, refreshments,
SAG vehicles will sweep the ride to offer assistance. Go to the
